Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles Downey

This place has shown its age and needs an upgrade. The room is big, with a separate sitting area and a spacious bed room, although the restroom is small. Half of the outlets are not working and the lights are dimmed. That said, it does have a working fridge and microwave that make it possible to store and prepare your own food. Location is great, right at downtown Downey with tons of fun places nearby.

Team members like him are the reason I’ve remained loyal for nearly 20 years. Excellent Service at Embassy Suites by Hilton Downey I had a great experience at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Downey, and I especially want to recognize George, a Guest Ambassador at the front desk. He was extremely kind, professional, and very prompt from the moment we arrived. What really stood out was when the complimentary chips were running low during the evening reception. Instead of waiting for the waitress, George personally went and got more chips to make sure guests were taken care of. That level of attentiveness truly shows going above and beyond. George also took the time to explain how to book directly through Hilton and how to maximize points and benefits, which I really appreciated. On top of the great service, the made-to-order breakfast is a must, and the two complimentary drinks during the evening reception are definitely a nice bonus and worth mentioning. Because of service like this, our stay felt genuinely welcoming. Thank you, George, for making the experience exceptional—I will definitely be coming back and recommending this hotel.

The hotel is built all around and left the middle as lookout to the lobby ground area. I do like the layout and design, the lobby is very spacious, welcoming. staffs are friendly. Room is clean, we all slept pretty well. Suites is perfect for a family. It has a door to separate the bedroom and the living area where the couch can turn to a full/queen sofa bed. It definitely helps a lot with the hallway or lobby noise for whoever sleeping in the bedroom, but it gets loud if sleeping in the sofa bed(we stayed on 3rd floor). For the first 2 nights, it has no WiFi and our signal/reception is bad in the room! That’s the major drawback. Breakfast also ends too early, it also tedious to have guests to show the card in order to get hot breakfast. The plates and drinkware are so heavy. They should invest the money to replace all the dinnerware…And Lord, 1 person who made omelets and no extra help?? Not only the line is long but poor staff who worked non stop all morning for making 4 omelets at once.

I love me some embassy! Everything is great the esthetics are great! Food and drinks at the bar are great! The staff is kind and helpful... My only problem with this place is I don't feel safe connecting to the free wifi guys be warned. The wifi is free but very unprotected me and my gf were staying here and she was connected and next thing you know someone hacked into her accounts and was trying to access her cash app account and steal her identity so better make sure all your stuff on lock or else there could be someone in any of those rooms hacking people.. Don't take away the wifi...but add security to it

Sabrina was the best. She followed up after I check in. Only complained I have this place, the refrigerator made weird noisy all night and parking is very limited. Their breakfast was top notch.

The place is old and the struggle to keep it up is noticeable. Very clean though and the service with a smile, breakfast and happy hour is great. Here when middle schoolers heading to Disneyland and high school choir were staying here. Forgot to call directly and ask if any events were going on. So it was noisy & crowded at times. Balcony was nice. No smart TV!

The suites are spacious and comfortable. Our room came with a balcony, microwave and coffee maker. The lobby is spacious and well lit. Breakfast is included in the stay, which is a plus.
